2013 Artist Market Success!

The 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market was a huge success with significantly increased foot traffic and a 38.5% increase in sales, making it the best year in our 15-year history.

Bhutan Baskets

Bhutan Baskets will be at the Wesleyan Artist Market this year selling their handmade baskets woven from harvested wild kudzu. The baskets are absolutely gorgeous!

Meclina Priestly

Meclina Priestly worked as an Art Therapy Specialist with at-risk teenage girls.  It was through this work that she discovered her own voice as an artist.  Meclina is one of 8 Southern Heartland Association artist that will be with us this year at the Wesleyan Artist Market.

Michael White

Children's book illustrator, Michael White will be participating in the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Michael is sure to be a fan favorite with our youngest shoppers.

Brent Baker

We are happy to announce that Brent Baker will be part of our Friends of Wesleyan Booth this year. Here is one of the paintings Baker will be showcasing at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Claire Anderson

Claire Anderson will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Her hand painted ceiling tiles make the cutest bulletin boards for graduation gifts.

Cindy Walton

We welcome Cindy Walton to the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Her work is beautiful and we are happy to have her join us this year. 

Beth Phillips

Beth Phillips loves creating things from salvaged objects. Her mix of whimsical sayings to functional items bring joy to everyone. Beth will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Jenny Henley

We are super excited to announce that mixed media artist, Jenny Henley, will be participating in the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Linda Zust

We are excited to have Linda Zust all the way from Ohio with us at the Wesleyan Artist Market for the first time this year.

Allison Stackpole

 We are happy to have Allison Stackpole returning to the Wesleyan Artist Market again this year. Allison's vintage whistles make the perfect graduation gift!

Adrienne Rogers

We are excited to have freelance Atlanta artist, Adrienne Rogers, joining us as one or our new artist this year at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Susan Proctor

Susan Proctor has a very extensive and diverse body of work including oils, acrylics and mixed media, which incorporate vibrant color and texture. Her style can be described as uniquely expressionist as beautifully shown in this painting. Susan will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Husband and wife duo, Todd and Joanie, will be returning again this year to the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market with their hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind sterling silver jewelry. A must see at the market!

Barbara Johnston

We are happy to have Barbara Johnston with Lady Bug Barb Art back with us again this year at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Barbara's hand-built pottery is just beautiful. 

Donna McClanahan

We are excited to announce that author, Donna McClanahan will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Come meet the author of the Critters Galore Book Series!

Chad Nelson with Ug-Chugs is sure to make you chuckle when you see all his silly faces at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Todd Murphy

Renowned artist, Todd Murphy, (and Uncle of Wesleyan students Cody and Kristen Solomon) donated this limited edition photograph to the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market in honor of his passion for nurturing the artist in every child. 100% of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to benefit the Fine Arts programs at Wesleyan School. Our new friends from Delich Designs will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. This group of 3 sweet ladies handcraft beautiful vintage pieces into modern creations. Looking forward to them showing off all of their fabulous designs.

Opening Night Celebration

Having fun "Discovering Our Talents" and connecting the DOTs. Can't wait for everyone to see the BRIGHT, BOLD display of DOTs at our "Opening Night Celebration" at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market on May 2nd from 7pm - 9pm.

Melissa Payne Baker

Melissa Payne Baker is known for her striking color palette and thick texture. Her paintings convey a feeling or an emotion that touch the viewer. We couldn't be happier to have Melissa back again this year at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. 

Ching Levy

Ching Levy will be showcasing her art with us for the 1st time this year at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Ching received her first Chinese calligraphy award when she was in her teens. Her art gracefully blends the aesthetics of both East and West.

Deborah Flack

Fiber artist, Deborah Flack, will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Deborah carefully crafts each of her bags by hand from re-purposed materials. Just love her Chichi Carpet Bags! What a super cool gift for that totally HIP chic about to go off to college! Hint! Hint!

Paul Flack

Folk artist, Paul Flack is inspired by graffiti and his street art's edge will bring spontaneity, wit and humor into your home. We are very happy to have both Paul and his wife, Deborah, at the Wesleyan Artist Market this year!

Guina Bixler

We are so excited to have Guina Bixler as one of our new artist at the 2013 Artist Market. Guina creates beautiful angels and nativity scenes using clay and lace. The pictures are gorgeous, can't wait to see them in person.

Fred Cox

Love this painting by Fred Cox with Classic Fragments! Fred is inspired by old roman frescoes and ancient decorative art.  Fred will be displaying his artwork at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

 

Jennier Ferris

Mixed media artist, Jennifer Ferris, will be attending the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Jennifer creates vibrant paintings using a mixture of collage and acrylic paints. We're excited to have Jennifer back again this year.

Shannon Haas

Shannon Haas' paintings have been described as "versatile, with eclectic flair". Her brilliant colors and abundant texture gives her art a unique quality of individuality. Shannon was our 2012 Featured Artist and we are happy that she will be returning again this year to the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Marilyn Wendling

We are happy to have Marilyn Farnsworth Wendling as one of our 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market Featured Artist . Marilyn's zest for life and exuberance are evident in her Alla Prima works in oil. Her command of light and color harmony takes places using a very limited palette which is beautifully depicited in her painting titled "American Story"

Pami Ciliax

Cupid draw back your bow! Pami M Ciliax is a self taught artist who's paintings tell a story. This will be Pami's first year at the Wesleyan Artist Market and we are head over heels about having her with us! Take a peek at her oil painting titled "House of Love Cumberland".

Jenny Schultz

Jenny Schultz tells the story of everyday life through her paintings. Boots left on the back porch to dry or a hydrangea arrangement just cut from the garden all have beauty and a history. It is through simplicity and color that Jenny expresses those stories. We are please to have Jenny as one of our Featured Artist for the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Malena Bisanti-Wall

Malena Bisanti-Wall creates decorative and functional ceramics that are both colorful and whimsical. Malena's work is handcrafted and each piece is one-of-a-kind! We are happy to have her back again at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market.

Lisa Berry

2013 Wesleyan Artist Market Featured Artist, Lisa Berry, designs with primarily semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver, gold and other accent materials to create beautiful, wearable art. Many of her pieces reflect the tropical blues found above and below the water.

Jennifer Barnard

Christina Baker

Christina Baker will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market this year. Christina is a self taught artist that continues to wow us every year. We can't wait to see what new paintings she brings to the show.

Our very own talented Wesleyan parent, Kelley Doran, will again be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Kelley's faith shines through in all of her paintings.

Margaret Berthold

Vikkie Weigel

Self taught artist, Vikki Weigel, is returning to the Wesleyan Artist Market. At first glance her works might say "happy," fun," "whimsical" - but with a closer look the word "soulful" comes to mind.

Jimkar Toys

Toy maker, Jim Witt, will again bring his eco-friendly Jimkars to the Wesleyan Artist Market. Each toy is hand crafted from hard maple and safe for kids! Jim's designs are simple and perfect for encouraging imagination!

Leslie Cannon

Leslie Cannon, talented artist and mother of 2 Wesleyan high school students, will once again be showcasing her paintings at the Wesleyan Artist Market in the spring.

Jo Lackey

Jo Lackey is a watercolor artist from Berkley Lake, GA where she has her studio. Jo's wishes are to "create" artwork and then "pass on" these treasures to someone else to appreciate and enjoy! Sam Brasher

Sam Brasher of Dawsonville, Georgia will be returning to the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market. Sam is a professional wood turner offering gorgeous handmade wood bowls, vases and more.

Shari Coan

Can you say "Hurray!" Once again Shari Coan will be bringing her "SassyFrass" embellished belt buckles to the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market on May 2-4th.

Tracy Cendoya

Returning artist, Tracy Cendoya, will be at the 2013 Wesleyan Artist Market again this year. Each one of Tracy's pieces spreads the gift of hope and joy.
